Executive Association

Application for Membership

In an effort to promote the objectives of Gardner-Webb University, provide network services to the MBA/MAcc/IMBA associates, and further develop and enhance the partnership between Gardner-Webb University and the business community, we have begun the formation of an Executive Association. We envision the association to be a self-supporting, not for profit organization, committed to meeting the needs of its members, the University, and industry. We plan to accomplish this through the following objectives:

 - To provide social and professional activities for its members.

 - To provide networking capabilities for its members.

 - To bring nationally and world renowned speakers to the campus.

 - To actively promote a positive image of Gardner-Webb worldwide and increase

   public awareness.

 - To maintain a strategic planning process that is conducive to addressing the current

and future needs of the program to meet changing academic and business

   requirements.

Some of the benefits derived from the Executive Association are:

For Students and Alumni

 - Providing networking capabilities, including employment opportunities.

 - Providing a forum for member input regarding the curriculum and related issues.

 - Organizing social and professional activities.

For the University

 - Increased public awareness.

 - Stronger relationships with the business community.

 - Providing opportunity for feedback to and from the community.

For the Business Community

 - Networking capabilities and access to a talent pool for recruitment.

 - Awareness of available programs to assist in seasoning and developing the talents of current employees.

 - Enhancing ability of local companies to attract potential recruits to the area.

 - Opportunity for input to ensure that future curriculum is congruent with the needs of the business community.

 - Providing availability of resources for consulting or problem resolution.

We have established some aggressive goals, but the benefit for everyone involved will be significant. The success of the Association will require commitment and effort.  Become a member today and help to mold the future of our organization, the university, and the business community.
