Accreditation

Gardner-Webb University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award MBA, MAcc, and International MBA degrees to qualified candidates. This regional accrediting agency regulates major universities throughout the southeast to evaluate the quality of their programs in or maintain a high level of academic excellence.  Additionally, the School of Business is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and licensed by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education.

Dean's Message

Welcome to the Graduate School of Business website.  We are glad you are visiting us and we hope you will seriously consider us as part of your future academic endeavors. Today's business environment is dynamic.  Managerial effectiveness depends on knowledge and skills used in decision-making. The intensive, applied nature of Gardner-Webb's MBA, MAcc, and IMBA programs provide training in management through the use of practical techniques which can be utilized by students in their existing positions.  Our programs offer a unique opportunity to study with others who have similar interests and to learn from others who have had varying work experiences.

The Graduate School of Business Faculty hold doctoral degrees from well-known universities around the world.  They have various business experiences and bring to the classroom a mixture of practical and theoretical training.  In addition, our small class sizes help to create an environment where student participation is routine.  I invite you to sample some of our course offerings and I trust you will agree with me that learning at the Gardner-Webb University Graduate School of Business can be a fun, challenging, and rewarding experience.
